Conclusion

As I look back on my year at Penn GSE, I feel immensely proud and fulfilled. Over the courses of this year, I have received a top-notch education that not only enhanced my reading, writing, and literary teaching skills but also cultivated my critical thinking and analytical abilities.

As a student in the Reading/Writing/Literacy program, I learned how to engage in deep literary analysis, exploring themes, symbols, and meanings within literary works. I also acquired writing skills, from academic essays to creative pieces, and experienced significant growth in my craft. As an educator, I got to hone my teaching skills and form my teaching philosophy while I engaged in numerous discussions and research projects. I had the opportunity to exchange ideas with outstanding professors and classmates, sharing viewpoints that significantly contributed to my academic and personal development.

Through my studies and experiences, I have realized that reading, writing, and literacy are not just skills but also modes of thinking and attitudes toward life. I believe that in my future endeavors, I will continue to apply the knowledge and skills I acquired at this program to my classroom, continuously growing and evolving with my future students.

I am grateful to all the teachers and classmates here, as well as the invaluable experiences and support provided by this program. The Reading/Writing/Literacy program at the University of Pennsylvania will always hold a special place in my life, and I will cherish the memories of this wonderful time forever.
